Complete Renovation


This started as a traditional Victorian terrace bathroom, originally converted from a bedroom.  I had to move the bath from under the window and replaced it with a superb shower bath with high pressure shower. 

Problem

Deryck wasn’t happy with his old shower.  It was cramped, mouldy and leaking.  Worst of all, if anybody turned a tap on somewhere else in the house while he was having a shower he would either be scalded or frozen.

Solution

I took out the old shower, built a new partition wall, fitted a luxury shower base and screen with a high-performance thermostatic mixer, correctly matched to the water pressure, tiled all round and added elegant wood facings.
